Terms & Conditions

Who we are

CentreServe and CentreServe Limited (/Ltd) are trading names for registered company 16048052. Our registered address is 3e/F Suffolk House Business Park, Ashwells Road, Brentwood, Essex, United Kingdom, CM15 9SG.

 

Our terms and conditions are in place, to not only protect us, but to protect you as our customer.​

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person visiting this website/ our customer and compliant to CentreServe Limited's terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company, "CentreServe Limited".

1.   Product Sourcing

   1.1.  All items which a customer sources has to be listed and sent to us via WhatsApp or email before you order them. This is to ensure that the shape, size, quality  and quantities are suitable for the job at hand.

   1.2.  We will state in your quote what is included, and will list at the footer what customers need to provide after our initial consultation.

   1.3.  If you want to source your own bathroom items you are responsible for the following:

        a. Checking items for damages and defaults before we arrive on site to carry out the work and giving enough time to change before the work starts.

        b. If work runs over time due to incorrect or faulty product sourcing, you will be liable for additional layout time/ call outs. (See section titles "Additional Labour".

        c. Ensuring that all required items are on site before we arrive to carry out works.

2.   Additional Labour​

   2.1. You will be responsible for additional labour/time costs if our work time runs over due to:

        a. You ordering different or incorrect sizes of the items to which we have stated & agreed on.

        b. You under order materials (purposely or accidentally) which causes works to be extended

   2.2. Faulty items from customers suppliers will be charged additionally if we have to come back and correct them/re-fit them, due to manufacturer or shipping problems (eg, faulty goods, damaged goods).

3.   Guarantees

   3.1. We offer two types of guarantees on our work:

         a. If you, the customer, supply the bathroom suite and fixtures, we will give you a 6-month guarantee on our laboured work. This does not include the replacement of faulty, or poor quality items supplied by yourself. Faulty items supplied by yourself will be charged an additional labour cost to rectify any problems.

         b. If we supply the bathroom suite and fixtures, we will give a 12-month guarantee on all work undertaken. This includes faulty fixtures and appliances that fail within this period. 

4.   Your Property

   4.1. Please let us know what items in the bathroom you would like us to save for you, as we are not responsible for the damage / disposal of anything we’re not notified of before work commences

   4.2. Please ensure there is an area free for tools and equipment

   4.3. If parking permits are required, please ensure we are provided with one when work starts, through to completion. 

   4.4. We will of course avoid any disruptions as much as possible, however:

         a. We are not held liable for any disruptions caused by the work undertaken, for example but not limited to: scrapes on walls, cracks on walls/ceilings

   4.5. Water shut off: In the case that we isolate the stop-cock by shutting it off, and it causes valve to leak and/or need replacing, this will be charged additionally​. 

   4.6. Heating system: in the case we drain down the heating system and the boiler does not fire back up, or the pump ceases to work we will not be held liable but we can quote to rectify. 

   4.7. If we cant find a drain down valve to drain down the central heating, we will install one and charge accordingly.

   4.8. Central Heating: If there is not a filling loop installed on your boiler we will install one and charge accordingly. If the ball/float valve in the F&E tank become faulty when we drain down the system, we will install new and charge accordingly

   4.9. Any repairs will be quoted separately.

5.   Payment Terms​

   5.1. Once we confirm a date to carry out the work, the items you are sourcing for your item have been sent through, checked, ordered and been checked for damages on delivery, we will then go ahead and book you in.

   5.2. We require a £100 booking fee in order to secure your slot which will be taken off of your final bill.

   5.3. We require a 50% deposit to be paid on the first day of works carried our, and the remaining amount to be settled upon completion.
